WORLD'S BIGGEST F1 SCHEDULE REVEALED

 

Melbourne’s reputation for hosting the largest motorsport line-up of any Formula 1® event in the world remains intact, ahead of the 25th race held at the Albert Park Grand Prix Circuit.

The Formula 1® 70th season opener will feature more than 22 hours of on-track entertainment across 50 on-track sessions, showcasing the best drivers and some of the most technologically advanced cars.

With world-class drivers including Lewis Hamilton, Max Verstappen, Sebastian Vettel and Daniel Ricciardo on the grid, the Formula 1® Australian Grand Prix will once again thrill crowds, with an unpredictable and exciting race.

Beaurepaires Supercars Melbourne 400 will roar into action with a brand-new format, Porsche PAYCE Carrera Cup Australia Championship will showcase a huge field of Porsche 911 GT3 Cup cars providing a must-see spectacle as the country’s premier one-make racing series.

Two brand new support categories have been added to bolster an already stellar on-track schedule, including carsales TCR Australia Series and the sleek S5000 which will feature legendary Brazilian driver Rubens Barrichello.

On top of that, history will come alive with the Shannons Historic display, that will feature sixty cars from the past.

Over the past 24 years, the Formula 1® Australian Grand Prix has developed a reputation for being a world-class event like none other – boosting tourism and creating employment opportunities for Victoria.

Since the inaugural race, more than 7 million people from around the world have attended the Formula 1® Australian Grand Prix at Albert Park.
