AUSTRALIAN MINT LAUNCH WALLABIES COIN

On the eve of Rugby's showpiece event in Japan, Rugby Australia has teamed up with Woolworths and the Royal Australian Mint to launch a limited edition $2 Wallabies coin in Sydney today.

Featuring Australia's sporting colours of green and gold and the Wallabies logo on the face, customers can find the coins in their change when they shop in Woolworths stores across the country.

A total of 2 million of the special Wallabies-branded coins, produced by the Royal Australian Mint, will be available to collect via Woolworths registers from today.

The launch was attended by Rugby Australia Chief Executive, Raelene Castle and former Wallabies Dean Mumm and Mark Gerrard at the Woolworths Metro store in Marrickville, Sydney this morning.
